Joan of arc was born on janruary 6 1412, in France. Joan was born a peasant and claimed she was told by and angle to lead the French army. She lead the French army to many victories during the hundred years war. Later she was captured and then burned at the stake for heresy when she was 19!

Clovis was King of the Franks from 481-511. He was the first lone king of the Franks. He changed the Franks from being ruled by multiple people to only having one ruler.

Charlemagne was the king of the Franks. After his fathers death, the throne was passed to him. He was King from 768-814. He became so powerful after he took over Italy that he was crowned emperor in 800! He was emperor from 800-814 when he died.
