    Began with the landing of 25,000 Persian men in Marathon. Athens soon sent someone to Sparta for help. Sparta could not immediately help due to their religious ceremonies. Both armies camped out for a while, soon Persia sent their troops to invade Athens. Athens fought back and won.

    Rome was expanding as it slowly started to take the lands of the Latin League. However, this expansion was taken back by the Celts in 387 BCE. That's when Rome realized that they should not let a city fall into attack again. In 338 BCE Rome finally defeated the Latin League. However, it did not punish the cities. They offered citizenship to the people instead.

    This crusade is known as the most disastrous crusade. This was because the Knights that were sent out from Western Europe made a few mistakes. They were supposed to capture a Muslim Kingdom. However, they ended up capturing a Christian Kingdom instead. On top of that, it was the last remnant of the Roman Empire.

Cortes was able to convince a group of resentful Aztec to fight along his side and take over the Aztecs.
