Everyone in France w as divided into three groups. The first group was the clergy witch is also known as the church people. The Second Estate was made up of the nobility and the Third Estate was the rest of the population -
Louis XVI Calls The Estate General
Louis XVI calls the Estate General because France is going bankrupt. The Three Estates made cahers explaining how they wanted their taxes to be more fair. They also wanted freedom of speech and meetings with the Estate General. The Delegates from the thrid Estate called themselves the National Assembly. Later when the people went to the meeting hall the king had locked the doors and would not allow them to enter. The people then meet at a tennis court to take a Oath -

The people stormed the Basitile in search for weapons to fight the Civil War. When they searched the Basitile they found no guns just prisinors -

The National Assembly Act got rid of fuedalism and slavery. The French then wrote the Declaration of rights to men witch made all men equal. The French got the general idea from the American's Declaratioin of Independence. The women then tried to fight for rights to be equal but they failed. -

The King Of Pruissia and the Emperor of Austria issed the Declaration of Pilnitz. The new legislative assembly took office. It survived for less than a year. Prices begang to increase and caused the people to have no food. In Paristhe sans-culoltes pushed t he revolution into a more radical action
