Gregory the great was a very popular person he worked his way to a monk than to a pope. During the time when Politics were weak he helped the peasents by giving them food and also help other survilians from the larban who would invade. He establish the medievil Roman Catholic sacramental system. -

When Decius was ruling the Roman Empire he made a policy that whoever worshiped him they would be rewarded a certificate. Whoever did don't have a certificate would be prosecute. Christians usually bought a fake certificate. -
