    Archduke Franz Ferdinand of the Austro-Hungarian Empire is assassinated in Sarajevo. The first attempt earlier that day was unsuccessful. His assassination was preformed by Gavrilo Princip. He was a member of the Black Hand Secret Society.

    Austria Hungary Declares war on Serbia
    Austria Hungary is angry at Serbia for killing there heir to the throne. They declare war. This then starts the whole downfall of the global peace and starts world war one.

    Germany declares war on Russia. Russia and France have an alliance so this will lead to Germany declaring war on France. Germany also formed a secret alliance with the Ottoman Empire.

    German foreign secretary Arthur Zimmermann sends a secret, coded telegram to his ambassador in mexico. The telegram tells him to propose an alliance to the Mexican government. The alliance is to join forces against the United States.

    The United States Declares War on Germany. The telegram that Germany sent mexico is intercepted by Britain and they inform the US. The United States Processes this and then decides to finally declare war on Germany after the other things they did that upset the Untied States.
