The major powers of the world had problems, Germany and France had problems all because of the resentment of France and its lands. Then the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and Austria had problems all over the Balkan territories. And then the countries started to make alliances. -

Since this year Germany had married Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire thus forming the triple alliance. The Austro-Hungarian Empire had long wanted to give Serbia a shot, and so they had problems there. Then, for France and England, Germany represented an economic threat. -

Russia, France and the United Kingdom happened to marry and so formed the Triple Entente all to make trouble for the other alliance to see who was better. And all this leads to a staircase of enormous problems. -
