    The last Qing emperor was overthrown by Sun Yixian. Sun soon became president of China but was not authoritative enough and turned power over to his general. Later, the communist party took over.

    After 19 year old Gavrilo Princip assassinated the Bosnian archduke and his wife, Austria presented Serbia with a list of of tasks to complete as payback for the assassination. When Serbia negotiated, Austria declared war on Serbia.
