Triple Alliance was a military alliance between Germany, Austria- Hungray, and Italy. The affect was shortly after renewing the alliance in june 1902, italy secretly exteneded a similar guarantee to france. Each memnber promised mutual support in the even of an attack by any other great powers, for Germany and italy.

Otto von Bismarck is very scared of his empire and thought they might break because the possibile two front people are able to attack France and Russia. Otto Von BIsmarck was able to decide a form an alliance with Russia prevent his empire from being able to break up.
