    Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand
    Serbia was considered apart of the Austiran Empire. Nationalists within Serbia did not agree with Austrian influence in Serbia, such as the group the Black Hand.     Ther Austrian governement believed that Serbia has gone against them, with the assinssination of the heir to the throne.     Germany began Schlieffen Plan
    Germany declared war on France soon after declaring war on Russia due to Russia and France being allies. Germany wanted to invade France, which the Schlieffen Plan was made in turn to invade France. Going through Belgium Germany began their invasion, only to be stopped by France.     The Lusitania is sunk by German U-Boat
    Britian declared war on Germany on August 4, 1914. Britian was transporting military goods from Britan to the United States.     United States gets involved with war
    The sinking of the Lusitania was one reason the United States got involved with the war. At the begining of the war the United States wanted to remain netural. As the war went on the United States began sending materials to the Allies, which made it hard for them to stay neutral and for other countries invlolved in the war to believe they were neutral.     Germany and Russia signed the treaty. In the treaty is ended Russias part in the war.

    Germany sign Armistice agreement with the Allies
    By this point in the war Germany has no food and ammunation supplies. The German people are begining to revolt to stop the war. The food supply is low at that point in the war and Germany does not have any means of getting or producing food. Their economy, due to the war, is also at a low, with the German money almost worth nothing. Germany signing the Armistice was the best option to discontinue the war for them.
