After the assasination of the Russian archduke and his wife set of declarations of war. Many alliances had been signed between 1879 and 1914. Many of the reasons World War 1 started was because of Alliances, Imperialism, Militarism, Nationalism, and many different Crises between different countries. -
Austria declared war on Serbia.
Serbia toom over Bosnia, people there considered themselves as Serbs and wanted Bosnia to be apart of Serbia. Austria balmed Serbia for the assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. -
British ship sunk.
Captain William Thomas Turner sowed the boat down because of a fog anf travled in a predictable line. 14 miles off of the Southern Ireland coast, a German U-boat shot a torpedo. Once it hit it launched another explosion on the other side of the boat causing it to sink. -
US declares war on Germany
Germans offered to Mexico Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Arizona, and California. This was the final straw, Germany has tried many other agressive actions that the Us didnt like so they declared war on Germany. -
End of Warld War 1
After the british, French, and American armies became more powerful they started pushing towards the German border on October 17 1918. They started fighting and germany began to crumble from within the fight. After a couple of days of fighting the allies, UK, France, America and Italy won world war 1 with the surrender of germany
