    This was a war that included all of the countries. This war was betweeen the Allies(France, Great Britain and USA) agains Central Powers(Germany, Austria-Hungary) witch the Allies won
  • The Peace Conference and The Big Three

    Main Countries: France, USA, Great Britain and Italy. Although many many more countries attended, these were the main countries. Main Terms: League of Nations was created, Germany's armament was reduced, Germany had to pay £6.6 billion and the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine returned to France. Main People: Prime Minister of Great Britain, Lloyd George, President of the USA, Woodrow Wilson and Prime Minister of France, Georges Clemenceau.

    The leaders of France, USA and Great Britain decided to punish Germany for being the ones to start the war. Despite the fact that Germany wasn't invited.
  • Treaty of Saint-Germain with Austria

    • The minurities wished to leave the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
    • Article 88 of the Treaty forbade Austria to join with Germany.
    • Conscription was abolished and the new Austrian Armybwas limited to 30,000 soldiers.
    • Reparations were never set because Austria was bankrupt.

    • Bulgaria lost territory such as Western Thrace, wich meant they had no reach to the Aegean sea.
    • Its army was reduced to 20,00 men, no air force and pay $100M reparation.
    • In Bulgaria the treaty was know like "Second National Catastrophe"
  • Treaty of Trianon with Hungary

    • Hungary's army was reduced to 35,000 and its navy no longer existed.
    • Reparations had to be payed but the Hungarian economy was close to bankrupty.
    • Most Hungarians considered the Treaty of Trianon as an insult to their national honour.
  • Treaty of Sèvres with Turkey

    • The terms were harsh.
    • Huge amount of territory awarded to Britain, France, Greace and Italy.
    • The Ottoman Empire was reduced to 50,700 men and it wasn't allowed an air force.
    • Allies were to control Ottoman finances.
  • Treaty of Laussane with Turkey

    • Boundries of Greace, Bulgaria and Turkey were settled.
    • Turky gave up its claims to Cyprus, Egipt, Sudan, Syria and Iraq.
    • No reparations demands were made.
    • No military restrinctions were placed on Turkey's army.
