Vladimir Lenin was born on April 10 1870 in Simbirsk (today Ulianovsk) Russia. At first this wasn't his original name as it was Ulianov. This being from his father, Llia Nikolaevich Ulianov. This was significant as he would soon become the dictator of Russia. Source: ( Lenin 421 ) -
Moving to St.Petersburg
Lenin moves to St. Petersburg in 1893 where he becomes a proffesional Revolutionary. This had happened when he was still young and in school. This is significant because Lenin was eager to improve the living conditions and status of the middle class and was devoted to attempting create a more just Russia. -
Being arrested

Alexander, Vladimirs older brother
Vladimir was a successful student just like his brother Alexander, but bad things happened to Alexander. Him and a few associates had conspired to assassinate the emperor. Vladimir Lenin was originally called by that, as he had adopted a new name later in life. In 1901 he had adopted the name Lenin and changing it from Vladimir Llich Ulyanov. Allies while living in Europe
Lenin lived in Munich from 1900-1902 and in London in 1903. In 1900, Lenin co-founded a newspaper publishing articles and books about revolutionary politics. He also recruited for the "Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour party" which was in line with Lenin's beliefs. This is significant because this is the cause of him returning back to Russia. San Francisco earthquake + three day fire

Returning to Russia

On April 14, 1912 the titanic cruise ship had sunk. This was a large cruise vessel that was for the people of wanting to explore the ocean. Revolution in Russia
In 1917 there were two revoltuions in Russsia that caused Lenin to return. First, popular demonstrations provoked by the hardship caused by the war Czar Nicholas II to step down. When Lenin heard of the news, he headed back to Russia on a train from Switzerland and wrote his April Theses which contained the essence of the RSDLP movement. The return to Russia
