  • Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand

    Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
    Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were assassinated by a Serbian member named Gavrilo Princip (This started the whole tension of WW1)
  • Austra-Hungary demands Serbia to arrest the leaders of the Black Hand

    Black Hand was a secret military society formed in 1901 by officers in the Army of the Kingdom of Serbia, best known for being allegedly involved in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. (This caused more tension after the assassination.)
  • Serbia asks Russia for help

    After having so much tension from the assassination. Serbia has finally asked for help from Russia, and the Russians have accepted the request of help.
  • Austro-Hungarian declares war on Serbia.

    After what everything has happened, Austria and Hungaria have declared war on Serbia. a few days later, Russia came with its army to help Serbia fight Austria and Hungaria.
  • German declares war with Russia

    But then, German wanted to declare war with the Russians as they were helping the Serbians.
  • Germany declares war on France.

    Germany declares war on France. but Brain has warned Germany, if Belgian were invaded or affected, Britain would join the war to help Belgium as they have a treaty signed.
  • Britain declares war on Germany

    But that didn't happen, Germany still invaded Belgium, making Britain declaring war with Germany.
  • Austro-Hungary declares war on Russia.

    Now Austria and Hungaria are declaring war on Russia, after helping Serbia.
  • France declares war on Austro-Hungary and, Britain declares war on Austro-Hungary

    France declares war on Austro-Hungary to help Russia. but, a few days later, Brain declares war on Austro-Hungary.
  • Japan declared war on Germany

    Japan declared war on Germany through the alliance with Great Britain, signed in 1902.
  • Battle of Tannenberg

    The August of 1914 Battle of Tannenberg was fought between Russian and German soldiers. It is notable for being the first battle fought in the war to be fought on the Eastern Front.
  • First Battle of Marne

    In September of 1914, the First Battle of Marne marked the end of German incursion into France and the beginning of the trench warfare so widely associated with World War One.
  • Turkey enters the WW1

    Turkey entered the war because of the central powers and helped Germany to beat Russia.
  • Russia Declares war on Turkey

    As Turkey helped Germany attack Russia, Russia has declared war on Turkey.

    Russia's allies ( Britain and France) are now helping Russia be also declaring war on Turkey.
  • Italy enters the war

    Italy entered the war on the side of the Allies.
  • Romania enters the war

    Romania joined the war on the side of the Allies. But within a few months was occupied by Germans and Austrians.
  • (Stalemate) Evacuation of Gallipoli is completed.

    this started the year before on December. The evacuation started with 36,000 troops withdrawn over the following five nights. The last party left in the early hours of 20 December, the night of the last evacuation from Suvla.
  • Germany having problems with food

    Food shortages are getting serious in Germany. Substitute foodstuffs became commonplace and the German people would steadily become more malnourished.
  • Battle of Jutland

    Believed to be the biggest naval battle of the First World War, on the 31st of May and the 1st of June in 1916 the Battle of Jutland pitted the British against the German fleet with their so-called "dreadnought" battleships.
