    The Trojan war

    The Trojan war began with the abduction of the Spartan queen Helen, and the Spartan army and some of the Greek army came to Troy to return the Spartan queen. The Spartan and Greek army kept on failing to get into Trot so the retreated and left a huge horse behind. A lot of soldiers hid inside of it and when the Trojans brought it into Troy all of the soldiers came out of the horse and invaded Troy.

    The Persian wars

    The Greek city-states were fighting the Persians. The Persians were huge favorites to win. The Persians tried to invade Greece twice but failed twice. All of the Greek city-states came together to form the delian league to defeat Persia.

    Alexander the great era

    Alexander the Great conquered many cities and countries. From Greece to India, Alexander the Great conquered all of them in a little over 12 years.

    peloponnesian war

    Athens and Sparta declared war on each other. They were fighting because Athens got rich off of them. None of the Greek city-states liked that so they revolted on Athens.
