The Timeline of my life

  • More of my beginning

I was born into a Somali culture. Somalis are from the country of Somalia and are predominately Muslim. Not all Somalis come from Somalia as my family lived in the country of Kenya. I do have 2 Stepsisters and 1 Stepbrother. The circumstances that are significant to my beginning is my relationship with my father and my mother became different as I grew older. My father and mother did divorce while I was still young and I lived with my father from age 8 to 17 and with my mother onward.

  • Crawl

According to my mother, I started crawling approximately 6 months after I was born. This is early for crawling but not too early as most babies crawl between 6 and 10 months.
  • Walk

According to my mother, my first walk that was successful was when I was about nine months in age. She was trying to feed me and I walked towards her into her arms.
  • Speech

My first word was my cousins name "Adulfatah" but I pronounced it "Abdufata." This is interesting as my mother never saw it coming and this was the start of my relationship with my close cousin.
  • After Highschool

I will finish high school with a lot of experiences in everything from Computer science understanding to knowing pottery. I plan on either going into the military first then college or just college. The college I would love to attend is The Ohio state University. I plan on studying Engineering and becoming a Chemical engineer.
  • Adulthood

    Adulthood
I do plan on getting married and having kids if all goes well. The parenting style I plan on utilizing is more of a permissive and authoritative depending on their age and their difficulty with discipline and school.
  • Hobbies and Challenges

    Hobbies and Challenges
I do plan on living in Georgia as its a wonderful place to raise kids. My hobbies now are playing basketball, running and a little flag football and Georgia weather is perfect for that. The challenges that I foresee coming is raising kids as that is not easy. I will seek advice from my mother and father as they raised me well and their way was effective.
  • My life and legacy

I will most likely evolve as a person and be more religious as I grow up. I will contribute to this world by raising my kids right and helping my community with charities and activities like cleaning the park or beach. I hope to be a honest, reliable, confident in my opinions and decisions as these are what I want my legacy to be.
