The beginning!

I was born. This is the day that my youngest sister jokingly (I think) says that her life was ruined! I am hoping that this is the day that someone was born that will make a positive difference in someone's life!

High School Graduation

I graduated from Millersburg Area High School, a little town in Pennsylvania, about 20 miles north of Harrisburg.

May 13, 1989

College Graduation

I graduated with a dual degree and teaching certification in mathematics and chemistry.

Aug 28, 1989

1st Teaching Job

I started my first teaching job in the York City School District, York, PA. It was a long-term full year substitute position for a sabbatical leave in general science and basic mathematics. A great place to start teaching - I learned a lot!

First comes marriage....

I married my college sweetheart!

Upper Dauphin Area High School, Here I Come!

I started teaching at UDA and I've been there ever since! The school is situated in a small rural town, Elizabethville, PA, about 45 minutes north of Harrisburg, PA. This is a rival school from where I graduated high school!
