Russian democratic labor party formed

The peasent socialists wanted a revolution amongst the peasents or minorities and the marxists wanted a revolution amongst the towns people.

The surfs were freed

Bloody sunday

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selma_to_Montgomery_marches Thousands of men women and children peacefully marched to czar Nicholas's winter palace in st. petersburge to deliver a patition asking for better working conditions. But the czar sent out his soldiers and they killed and wounded hundreds of people.

World War 1

The germans were overwhelming the Russians. Mainly because the soldiers weren't well trained. Also many of the soldiers were rebellious and refused to fight the german army.

february revolution

In russia strikes over food and coal shortages broke out in st.Petrogad anjd again soldiers were sent to stop it. but instead of stoping it they joined it instead.
