    Russian officers lead about 3,000 soliders on a revolt against Czar Nichlos the first after he gained the thrown. All of this took place in Senate Square, Saint Petersburg. Senate Square was renamed to Decembrist Square, but was then switced back in 2008

    Alexander II emancipants the serfs. They where made legally free from their landlords. This made Alexander liked by the lower class but the middle and upper class where unhappy

    Was Czar from 1894- 1918. He and his family where exucted in March 1917 they where taken to Czarskoye Selo palace then to Yekaterinburg palace by Tobosk. Then on July 16, 1918 Nicholas II and his family went down to the basment thinking they where tqaking a picture. Instead they where all gunned down.

    On Febuary 8, 1904 Japan did a surprise attack against Port Arthur. This war lated until September 5,1905. In march, Russian troops were defated at Shenyang, China by Japanese marshal Iwoa Oyama. In May ghe Russian Baltic fleet was destroyed by Japan

    Bloddy Sunday became known as the Bloody Sunday Masacare. This day was the bloodiest day in the war. It took place in St. Petersburg. Forced open firelead to killing and wounding hundreds.

    The first world war had cost millions of lives. Those not acually fighting hadtoface serious fod shortages. The winter of 1916-17 was very vold and fuel was in very short supply. Cold and lack of food create enivronment that lead to trouble for those blamed for these problems.

    Czar Nicholas was not very trained or had much knowldge of being a leader. This lead to a loss in the Russo-Japanese war. Nicholas II caused much discontent within Russia

    The Russian CIvil War was against the Reds (blosheviks) and the whites (Menshoviks). The Bolsheviks were led by Lenin and another man named Trotsky. During this War Lenin had made two promisees .FIrst was to the peasents and the secound was to get out of WWI

    Creation of the U.S.S.R.
    The U.S.S.R is commonly known as the soviet union and was created on December 30th 1922. The Socviet Union created a new centralized government. The Treaty was a cause of Russia seeking more power.
