    Hitler liked the ideas that the party had about what they thought Germany should look like. What he saw was an unorganized party, but he saw the potential in this party. This was important because this was Hitlers' first time in politics. He would later become the leader of this party, and it would help propel him to become the leader of Germany.

    The Nazi party (formerly known as the Workers' Party) tried to weaken Hitlers position, but he countered them by resigning. Hitler announced that he would return if he was made chairman and given dictatorial powers. They realized that without Hitler, it would mean the end of the Nazi party. On July 29th, he became the Führer of the Nazi Party. This was important because, now he is the leader of the party, and could control them to bring him power.

In the election the Nazis received 18% of the vote, and were suddenly the second largest political party with 107 elected representatives in the Reichstag. This was important because this showed Hitler that his plan was working. This also got the Nazi party more publicity. control over the country, and was a good step for the party.

This is important because this let him do whatever he wanted with the military, and there was no threat of a military takeover.
