    President Roosevelt establishes the isthmus canal commision to see through the construction of the Panama canal. Roosevelt ordered the men to "make the dirt fly" whidh ment to finish digging work as soon as possible. But some people thought it was a bad approach at trying to build it.

    The public health officialls found out that the conditions of work was not good. They found out that peoples fingers would get copped and ground in with the meat. Work conditions were not good because of mud slides. There was a mud slide that killed 6,000 people.

    Many workers had died and the work was stoped because they kept contracting maleria and yellow fever. Cuban doctor Carlos Juan finally discovered that yellow fever was transmitted by a certian type on mosquito. English doctor Ronald Ross found that a other species was transmitting malaria. By 1906 Gorgan nearley wiped out yellow fever and malaria by clearing out swamps.

    I think that the scripture in acts 17:26 means that God is the one who built this nation up. That he is the one who guided the president’s on what to do. And that everything that has happened in this nation was Gods set purpose and plan. And that if God wanted to he could change the nation for better or for worse. And that he could change history if he wanted to. Also that he guided the workers so they did not get hurt or sick
