    The Triple Alliance was created and it was between the countries Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. There were series of wars with other countries. This Alliance was made by each country signing a document that agreed to the three countries supporting one another with military service in case of war.

He was the heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, in Sarajevo, Bosnia. This was important because this was the main cause and kick-start to WW1.

During the same day, France ordered a general mobilization. 20 million soldiers and civilians died, and there was much physical devastation in the European continent. This event was widely acknowledged to have sparked the outbreak of World War 1.

    On August 4th 1914, Great Britain declared war on Germany. This decision is known to be the start of WW1. Britain's leader was Prime Minister Herbert Asquith. He gave Britain a final demand to get out of Belgium by midnight of August 3rd.

    The allied powers were Great Britain, France, and Russia. Japan joined within few weeks. Italy was a part of the triple alliance, but joined the allied powers. The central powers were the battle lines of Germany and Austria-Hungary. Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire later joined the central powers because they wanted to regain lost territory. The events stated above started the War.
