The SA is created
The SA (Sturm Abteilung) is formed. Known as Stormtroopers they were the party militia. Known as the brownshirts because of their uniforms. -
Hitler goes to Prison
Hitler's trial for his part in the Munich Putsch began. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Only served 10 months. During his time in prison Hitler wrote Mein Kampf. The book about his early life and what he saw the furture of germany and the world in his image. -

The SS is formed. Wore black to be noticed different from the SA. Became one of the most power organizations in Nazi Germany. Worked under Hitler as a paramilitary milita. Controlled by Himmler, for the Nazi ideology. Suffered war crimes against humanity after WWII. -

Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" published. Wrote about his youth ideas, and master race. -

The Great Depression causes the world to suffer many Germans face unemployment and poverty. Support for the Nazi party increased dramatically. -

Nazi Night of the long Knifes happens
On the night of June 29th - June 30th 1934, units of the SS arrested the leaders of the SA and other political opponents. Men such as Gregor Strasser, von Schleicher and von Bredow were arrested and none of them had any connection with Röhm. The arrests carried on for 2 more nights. -
