1832 Bradburn arrests Travis for protesting the soldiers and Taxes and Bradburns treatment.

When other Texans come to his aid they end up writing the Turtle Bayou resolutions to explain why they attacked Anahuac and pledge loyalty to Santa Anna.

1832 Texans supported Santa Anna because they believed he would support the constitution of 1824

Texans called a meeting to create a list of changes they want.SFA is named the president of the meeting. All settlements represented except San Antonio. The most important change they want is to be a separated state. Never sent because wanted to support the Tejanos. Another meeting in 1833 Sam Houston named the president of meeting Tejanos agreed to the list of demands and SFA takes the list to Mexico City.

After waiting months to meet with Santa Anna SFA sends a letter to Texas telling them to start organizing a state government. Santa Anna finally meets with SFA and he agrees to some demands but not to be own state. SFA heads home but then gets arrested after his letter was intercepted. They believe SFA was going against the government. When SFA returns home he says they have no choice but to fight because of Santa Anna becoming a dictator.

1835 COS is sent to Texas with more troops. Travis is arrested for protesting this.
