    Turns several pages of a book at the same time. Picks up small objects with thumb and forefinger. Moves objects from hand to hand. May walk alone or while holding a caregiver's hand. Sits down without help. Slides down stairs backwards, one step at time.

    Using a spoon so eat usually.. Start drinking from a trainging cup.
  • Social Development.

    Plays alone but often near others, delikes sharing toys, desires approval, and fears some strangers,.
  • Four Periods of Learning, 1-2 years.

    Children learn through their senses and own actions.
  • Intellectual Development Milestones 1 year.

    Begins to put two words together, names common objects and people, understands "no" but ignores it, and finds hidden objects.
  • Social Patterns.

    bond more with the family, dont interact with one another, need to be played with often, use parallel play often, teat people like objects and not as humans, and can notices emotions.
  • Emotional Develpoment 18months.

    Self centered, very negative, desire for independence, frustrated ealisy, gives choices, realiizes that they are their own person, redirect child, and encourage talking.

    Stacks from two to four blocks. Grasps crayons with a fist and srcibbles. Walks well. Jumps in place. Climbs up or down one stair. Pull toys with wheels.

    Fine: stacks from 2 or 4 blocks, grasps crayons with a fist and scirrbles, Gross: walks well, jumps in place, climbs up or down one stair, and pull toys with wheels.
  • P. Development 2

    Stacks 6 blocks. Turns one page of a book at a time. Picks up objects from the floor without losing balance. Walks wit Jumpes off the bottom step. Pushes self on wheeled toys.
  • Self Feeding 2

    Children can usually feed themsevles and learn to use a fork.
  • Physical Development 2-2 1/2 years.

    Fine: stacks six blocks, turnas on page of a book at a time, picks up objects from the floor without losing balance, Gross: walks with more coordination and confidence, jumps off the bottom step, pushes self on wheeled toys.
  • P. Develpoment 2

    Stacks 8 blocks. Screws lids on and off containers. Draws circles and horizontal and verticle lines. Alternates feet going up stairs but not going down. Runs but may not be able to stop smoothly. Throws a ball overhead but inaccurately.
  • P. Development 3

    Stacks nine or ten blocks. Cuts with scissors. Draws recognizable pictures. Jumps up and down in place with both feet. Catchs a ball with arms straight. Rides a tricycle.
  • Self Feeding 3

    They are skillfuly using a fork and spoon. They have a set of promary teeth. Meats and other foods should be cut into small peices.
