Oct 1, 1810 At age 11 Stephen F. graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. Oct 1, 1811 Fr. Hidalgo is excuted and Spain reestablishes control over Texas. Oct 1, 1812 The Gutierrez-Magee Expedition captures Nacogdoches Oct 1, 1819 Spain reclaims Texas and most of the Guiterrez-Magee expedition is killed. Oct 1, 1820 James Long captures Nacodoches Oct 1, 1820 Moses Austin leaves for Texas. Nov 1, 1820 Stephen F. moves to New Orleans and becomes a lawyer. Jun 10, 1821 Moses Austin dies.
