  • The Battle of Gonzales

    The impact of the Battle of Gonzales was that it was the republic's first victory and it was considered the first battle of the Texas Revolution. The Mexicans didn't agree with the Texans keeping a cannon to protect themselves from raids.
  • The Siege of Bexar

    An group of volunteers from Texas battled a Mexican army in San Antonio de Bexar. It was considered the only Texan win besides from the Battle of San Jacinto.
  • The Alamo

    The people involved in the Alamo were William B. Travis, Santa Anna, James Bowie, and David Crockett. It made the rest of Texas to fight against Mexico and led us to a victory over Santa Anna and Mexico.
  • Declaration of Independence Signed

    The declaration of independence finally announced and established the republic of Texas. This meant that Texas would become its own country.
  • The Battle of San Jacinto

    The men involved in the final battle were Sam Houston and the Texas army, and Santa Anna. The Texas army defeated Mexico in the matter of 18 minutes. This war was declared the last war.
  • Goliad Massacre

    The ones involved in the Goliad Massacre was Santa Anna, General Urrea, and James Fannin. The impact of the Goliad Massacre was that the Massacres done by Santa Anna helped Texans defeat him and Mexico.
