    Battle or Gonzalez
    The Texans buried their cannon and prepared for the Mexicans return. They heard the Mexicans ar returning to take the cannon. 160 settlers elected J. H. Moore as theirr leader and dug up the cannon. They flew a flag saying "Come And Take It". The Texans crossed the river and fired at the Mexicans making them flee.
  • Seige of San Antonio

    300 Texans marched on to San Antonio while other volunteers ans settlers, and the army was about 600 people by the time it reached San Antonio. A fight broke out and the Mexicans fled further in San Antonio beginning a month-long seige.
  • Consultation

    Consultation
    The delegates gathered at san Felipe to decide on what action the Texans should take. On November 6, 1835 the Consultation voted against an ammediate declaration of independence. They continued to be loyal citizens of Mexicans. They delclared that they fought only to protect themselves and stand up for the constitution of 1824
  • Battle of San Antonio

    During the seige on San Antonio many people left cause there was no fighting. The Texans were about to give up until they got news that Cos's troops were in great confusion and low on supplies. Between 300 and 500 people were ready to fight, so they attacked.
  • Runaway Scrape

    Hearing of Santa Anna's andvance and Houston's retreat certain that Santa Anna intended to kill all Anglo Americans families in Gonzales fled. Anglos heard of the massacres at the Alamo and at Goliad they fled too.
  • Battle of the Alamo

    Neil was ready to defend the Alamo, but he knew he didn't have enough men. Neil had about 30 men.Bowie and his mencame to destroy the Alamo ,but stayed to fight. Travis came with 29 men to help fight. Crockett came with about 12 men. Neil had to leave and left Travis in charge. Travis split the command with Bowie. News came that Santa Anna arrived at San Antonio and began the seige.
  • Consttutional Convention of 1836

    The delagates gathered for the second Consultation. The delagates declared Texas independence the next day. Within two weeks they had written a constitution.
  • Battle of Coleto

    Fannin was ordered to retreat to Victoria. After he began his retreat he stopped in an open prairie to give his men and oxen a rest. Urrea's men surrounded them. Fannin ordered his men into a square to defend themselves. Urrea's men attacked many times, but the Texans drve them back every time. Early next morning Urrea got reinforcement and took captive the surviving Texas soilders.
  • Goliad Massacre

    When Fannin was captured he signed an unconditional surrender, most historians elieve that Urrea told him they would not be executed. Santa Anna said differently. He ordered them to be executed. The Texans were took back to Goliad. After a week those who could walk were taken outside hoping they'll be sent home. Instead, the gaurds began shooting all but some were killed who ran away in the confusion. The others were killed.
  • Battle of San Jacinto

    Houston ordered Deaf amith to burn Vince's bridge, so the mexicans can't escape. As the Mexicans were resting Houston arranged his men on the field. They struck they right side of the Mexican army back into each other in a line. Un prepared for the attack the battle lasted 18 minutes.
