Battle Of Gonzales

The Mexicans sent about 100 men to go and get a cannon that had been provided for defence against the Indians. In responce the Texians loaded the cannon with scrap iron, & aimed at the Mexicans. The battle flag used by the Texans said "Come & Take It".
