    The Battle of Gonzales
    This was the first military engagement in the Revolution, but no one was killed. The Mexicans were afraid the Texians were going to fight against the Mexicans so the Mexicans were trying to take their weapons. So the Mexans were trying to steal the 'Flying Artillery', a cannon. But the Texians declined and the battle began and ended with no deaths.
  • The Constitutional Convention of 1836

    The whole reason of the convention was to create a constitution for their future country. So basically they copied the U.S. Constitution because it was so awsome.
  • The Battle of The Alamo

    The Battle of The Alamo
    It started at Febuary, but that was the siege of the Alamo where it all began. The whole battle just lasted for an hour and a half, but the siege lasted thirteen days. That was the day where technically the Texians won the Revolution by killing about 600 Mexicans.
  • The Battle of Coleto Creek

    The Battle of Coleto Creek
    Sam Houston told Col. Fannin out of Goliad. So obeying commands Fannin took his troops and started heading to Victoria(where Houston told them to go). But on the way in Coleto Creek, they were surrounded by Mexicans. So they formed in a square and when the Mexicans charged from the woods they shot. After 3 failed attempts they went to sleep. on March 20 the Mexicans got reinforcements, but the Texans couldn't hold them out long enough so Fannin surrendered.
  • Goliad Massacre

    After the Battle of Coleto Creek the Texian army went to prisons in Goliad. Col. U had orders from Santa Anna to kill each and every prisoner, although he didn't want to do it he did. A few escped but not Col. Fannin he was the last to be kill, shot in the face, the mexicans took his belongings and his body burned.
  • The Battle of San Jacinto

    The last battle of the Revolution. Sam Houston lead this battle and ended up winning, and capturing Santa Anna, which Santa Anna signed surrender and that the Mexicans wont come back and sttack them. Santa Anna also agreed that Texas was now a state.
