    Battle of Gonzales
    The Mexicans wanted the Gonzales Cannon to be taken away from the Texans, taking away their safety. The Texans wouldn't give up the cannon without a fight. All though no lives were lost, the Texans were allowed to keep the cannon

    This meeting was called to order for the drafting of the Texas Declaration of Independance. Delegates came far and wide to help pitch in. They all wanted to help Texas. The Texas Declaration was written by George Childress.
  • Battle of the Alamo

    Battle of the Alamo
    After a 13 day seige, the Mexicans attacked the Texans at this mission, the Alamo. The battle began in the depths of night, and the last Texan defender was killed at the early hours of dusk.
  • Battle of Coleto Creek

    Battle of Coleto Creek
    This battle was fought on a prarie. It lasted two days, and Colonel Fannin surrendered. What was rest of his troops were marched back to Goliad.
  • Goliad Massacre

    Goliad Massacre
    Several days after Fannin surrendered, most of his troops were marched out. They were decieved, thinking they would be set free, back to their homes. They were stopped, told to stand in a line, and shot at from behind. Some of the Mexicans spared some, and a few Texans managed to escape. Fannin was the last to be killed, his dying will rejected. The Mexicans burned all their bodies and the women stripped them of their clothes and washed them fr Mexican use.

    Battle of San Jacinto
    Santa Anna thought that Sam Houston was cornered, so he let his troops have their much-needed rest. While thy were sleeping, Sam Houston and his few troops ambushed them with their newfound hope- The "Twin Sisters". They miraciously won the battle, with the Mexican troops dazed or bewildered. Some Mexicans were forced out on to the river and drowned.
