    Well know explorer and fur trader in canada, Rene Robert cavelier, Sieur de Salle came to the US. Then when he left on a boat, he missed his target and ended up in Matagorda Bay, Texas. Where he founded Fort Sumter.

    Stephen F. Austin was arrested because he was accused of trying to take over the Mexican govement. but he wasnt. He was innocent, but the Mexicans didnt believe it. So they put him in Jail.

    100 Mexican soilders were sent to retrieve a cannon and the Texans loaded it with scrap metal and fired. It was the start of the Texas Revolution.

    On Feburary 23, 1836, The Battle at the Alamo started. The Mexicam army had 2000 soilders, and the Texan army only had 189. On March 6th, 1836, all of the Texan soilders were dead.
