Texas soldiers inflicted a great number of casualties but eventually split up and were captured. Around 50 Texan soldiers killed with 98 captured. Those captured were sent to Goliad. (Campbell, R., 2018)

Texans fought, and ten were killed and sixty wounded. 200 Mexicans killed/wounded. Captured Texans were executed on March 27th. Few escaped, fewer spared.

Santa Anna signed two treaties with Texas president David G Burnet, the first being a public agreement and the second to be carried out when the first expired. Santa Anna would be released, and both sides would evenly swap prisoners.

Sam Houston was elected as the president, with Lorenzo de Zavala as his vice president. Texas citizens strongly support being annexed by the US.
