    -Property taxes enforced.
    -Forbidding against slavery was enforced.
    -Mexican criminals had the choice of prison or joining the Mexican army in Texas.
  • Battle of Gonzales

    First military engagement of Texas revolution. The battle was between rebellious Texan settlers and Mexican army soldiers.
  • Texas Independence

    Texas declaration of independence was literally declared over night because while it was being prepared the Alamo in San Antonio was under siege by Santa Anna's army of Mexico.
