This happened because the people did not want Nicholas I to become the Czar. 3000 rebels attacked ,but they were defeated. This led to the Revolution because Nicholas I came into power therefore Nicholas II would come into power. -
Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs
Alexander II singed a document that stated that all Serfs shall be free. But all the Serfs had to bye land at very high prices and were still very poor. this led to the Revolution because the Serfs were free so they could rebel, too. -
Assasination of Alexander II
He was assasinated by the Peoples Will group. They made several attemts on is life, but finally took it with a bomb thrown at him. This led up to the revolution because after his death people thought they could be bolder with their rebelions. -

It was fought over the land of Korea and Manchuria. The Russians ended up losing the war. This led to the Revolution because it made the country weaker. -
Bloody Sunday
Peaceful protesters marcheed through the streets of St. Petersburg led by a Father Gapon, asking for voting rights and freedom of speech. 1000 people were shot and either injured or killed. This lead to the Revolution because it angered the people and made them rebel even more. -
