A huge Brain Drain in Canadian history happened in the 1990s when people working in engineering, science, computer programming,etc. left Canada to live in the USA. Reasons why these people wanted to emigrate would include better standards of living, higher salary, access to more advanced technology(Dodari and LaPorte, 1). We need these workers because they make money for our economy.
