Six Important Events In My Life

  • Birth

    Birth
On June 30, 1997, I was born. I'm so glad God blessed me to be born into the family that I have, because they've really helped point me to Jesus. From teaching me who God was, to taking me to Church, Sabbath School, and Christian schools, these have all helped shape me into a better Christian, and get me started on my journey with God.
  • Visiting Romania!!!

    Visiting Romania!!!
On July 1-14, 2005, my family and I visited the country Romania. We went there to visit family, and it was a really cool experience! It's so interesting to see how different other countries are compared to the US. Going to another country is really exciting and eye opening; I hope I can visit again soon!!!
  • Cohutta Springs Youth Camp

    Cohutta Springs Youth Camp
A week can change your life! On June 10-June17, 2009, I went with some friends to a popular SDA summer camp: Cohutta Springs Youth Camp. It was so worth it! Not only did I bond closer with my friends, but the whole week, away from the distractions of the world, I was able to focus so much better on God. Throught the worships each morning and evening, the plays, Bible studies, and chapels, it showed me that spending time with God didn't have to be a hassle... it could be fun!
  • Baptism

    Baptism
I was baptized on May 2, 2009. I was 11 years old and 6th grade. A few friends and I had been doing Bible studies at school for the past couple of months with our church's youth pastor. I wanted to be baptized because I really wanted to dedicate my life to Jesus! I'm so glad I did!!!
  • First Day of High School

    First Day of High School
I started high school on August 15, 2011, at Fresno Adventist Academy. The first day was so exciting: the nervousness of being a Freshman mixed with my excitement of so much "newness"... it's hard to describe. (I guess it's like a regular first day of school... just multiply your excitement by 10!) Throughout my Freshman year, teachers and friends helped me get closer to God, and I'm so glad God put who He did in my life!
  • Freshman/Sophomore Retreat

    Freshman/Sophomore Retreat
February 1-3, 2013, was Freshman/Sophomore Retreat. It was such a blessing! The worship services and speakers really touched me. I also love that we had our own small groups to spend time with. Our group really bonded: on the last day of the retreat we all spilled our guts and talked about really personal stuff. Now I've made close friends that I can confide anything in, and I'm glad God put them in my life!
