    Edward Allaway Edward was a custodian at the school's library. He bought a semi-automatic rifle at a Kmart and fired in the library's first-floor lobby and at the building's Instructional Media Center. He fled the campus and drove to a nearby hotel where he telephoned police to report his actions. Status: Found not guilty by reason of insanity. Confined to the State Hospital in 1977.

Status: She pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to 2 25 years to life in prison.

Status: Sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 25 years on Dec. 15 1998.
