Germany declared war on russia on August 1914. Shortages of food and feul resulted, increasing the level of social discontent. Csar and his wife were deeply influenced by the Monks. -
The february revolution
Riots and strikes over food and coal shortages broke out in pretrograd. Troops sent to stop the uprising joined the defending side. The goverment came up with " deul power " against a;; poeple that were not russian. Most working people/ groups left their sides for the enimies. -
The oct revolution part 2
When Trotsky returned to pretrograd, the all russian soviets union came up with the council of people who were not russian. He was not happy when the goverment moved the capital of russia was moved from prertograd to moscow. -
The Oct. revolution
Trotsky had returneed to petrograd. On november 8th 1917, the all russian soviats union came up with the council of people. The goverment withdrew russia on dec 2nd 1917. On march 1918, the goverment moved the capital of russia from perograd to moscow. -

move to the new soviet union in moscow instead of in pretrogad. -

Food and feul shortages caused people to begin to start riots. The people didnt know what to do. Some of those people wanted to move away becuase of these reasons, and some of the people just wanted to fight back. Like start a war.
