    In 1905 the Russian people tried to peacefully protest against the czar Nicholas II. They wanted more of a say in their government. The police went to turn around the protesters, and when the crowd kept coming closer the military started shooting. 100 marchers were wounded, and hundreds of them were injured. This starts the revolution.

    Lenin died on January 21, 1924 from a brain hemorrhage. And then later put on display in the Red Square. Lenin was the leader of the new communist party, and helped form Russia after the war.
