    Nicholas was ruling from november 1 1894 untill he was forced abdication march 15 1917. He was abdicated because of his poor handeling of Bloody Sunday and Russia's role in world war 1 which led to his execution. He inherited the throne when his father, Alexander the 3rd died. He believed in autocracy, but was forced to created an elected legislature. Bolsheviks executed him on July 17,1918 in Yekaterinburg Russia.
