had one before, that they were willing to go to war over it. Even though the did win they ended up losing in about 11 years later because of WW1. -

After news off Blood Sunday spread, Horrified Russians sparked a revoultion. Peasents looted and burn there landowners homes. -
Bloody Sunday
A Conflict with Japan, led to The Russo- Japanese War. A peaceful march led by Father Georgi Gapon, to St. Petersburg. They were going present a petition to the czar asking for better working conditions and some more polical freedoms. Father Gapon led thousands of unarmed men, women, and children, carring pictures or the czar and singing the czars hym "God Save thy People". When they marched to close to the palace, they were shot at by the soilders. -
World War I (Russian Involvement)
World War 1 went horribly for the Russians. It started in !914. Nichoulas II lead them into it even though they econimy was still weak. Russia mainly lost because they ran out of food and ammo. -
Czar Nichoulas 2 abdicates the throne
Workers were rioting trying to get sociailst reforms, and Nichoulas and to step down. Then on July 16, he and his family were gunned down in a basement. -
Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks capture the Winter Palace
Lenin ordered to attack the Winter Palace on October 25. No blood was spilled and they took over the Palace relitivy easliy. This action however plunged Russia into a Civil War that the Bolsheviks won in 1921 -

Started by the white and red armys. The Red army was supported heaviely by the communist government. -

After Nichoulas II abicates the throne he and his family is put on a train to sebria, and murdered, by being shot. -

Alexander Kerensky becomes the leader of the provisional government
In july, he became the 2nd primemisnter of Russia. -
Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs
Alexlander II got rid of the sefs in 1861, and of coruse the serfs are happy about this. But the Nobles that the serfs worked for were not so happy. They killed alexander II by throwing two gernades at his carrige.
