Bolshevik Revolution
Bolshevik Revolution was ramped up off of the massive numbers of workers sent into WW1 from Russia.
Wanted to overthrow the Provisional Gov
The Provisional Gov started to support the workers more as time went on.
On Nov. 6, armed workers known as Red Gaurds stormed the Winter Palace.
V. I. Lenin became the knew ruler of the Bolsheviks to make social order in Russia. -
Royal Family Murdered
The Romanov Family ruled in Russia from 1613-1917. The family had a father, wife, and 5 children. The father ,Nicholas 2 Romanav was not a well-respected ruler and was hated by workers and people of lower class. Revolts broke out and Nicholas was forced to resign. On July 17, the family was told to wait in a basement to be escorted to a safe place due to threats from workers. The family was killed by the gaurds who told them to wait in the basement.
