Rasputin was a poor religious man who receieve the liking from the Czar and his wife. When the Czar went to help Russia fighting in World War I, Rasputin took control of the country and was later killed by haters.

Czar Nicholas was seen by his country as a bad and untrained leader. He led his country into too many bad and expensive wars. He was forced to give up the throne when people began to demand he did so.

Trotsky of Germany and Austria tried to get Lenin to sign The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in an attempt to get Russians out of World War l. After a while, Lenin finally signed the treaty which ended up causing Russia to give up some of it's territories.
