Ivan the IV becomes Russia's first Czar (King), and he begins to expand Russia's borders. -

Peter the Great toured Europe and then came back with modernizations. He made St. Petersburg (Named after him) thye most modern city, and the capitol. -

Russia has expanded all the way from Poland and Finland, through Alaska, and all the way down to San Fransisco. -

Russia sold Alaska to the U.S. for $7.2 million. -
Czar Killed by a Terrorist
Alexander II gets killed by a terrorist bomb. -
First Faberge Egg
Alexander III orders for the first Faberge egg. Faberge egss are really expensive eggs made out of expensive gems and minerals, such as diamonds and gold. -
Nicholas II Becomes Czar
Nicholas II becomes czar reluctantly at age 26. Russia was already in a bad state and he wasn't quite ready for the responsibility. -
Romanovs Were Murdered
The last of the Romanovs (Nicholas II's family) were murdered by several soldiers who were told to do so. -
USSR is Established
The USSR is established as the government of Russia. Lenin is the leader of the new communist party. -
Stalin Becomes Sole Dictator
Joseph Stalin becomes dictator and controls everything. He became ruler after Lenin died of a stroke. -
