    Happend in Saint Petersburg in Russia. The Father Georgy Gapon and unamed demonstarors were fired upon by the soliders of the Imperial Guard as they marched towards the Winter Palace. This is considered to be the cause of the revolution on 1905.

    Russia got involved becasuse of the assination of Archduke Frank Ferdinand in Sarajevo. Russia kept making attacks on Germany in what used to East Prussia. Russia had two big wins then suffered a huge loss at the Battle of Tnnenberg.

    Workers in the cities largest factory demanded a 50 percent wadge increase so they could buy food. The management refused so all the workers went on strike. 30,000 workers were then locked out of their work. They persuaded the other workers to strike along with them. Nicholas then wanted the people striking to be killed and the soliders then revolted and joined the strikers. The government then did not want a czar so Nicholas ii was forced to give up his throne.

    Russia had changed history on this night. Lenin was determained to lead the bolsheviks to power. He knew Russia was having war-weariness so he took advanted of it and stormed in. Russia immediently surrendored from the war.

Czar Nicholas was forced to abdicte because everyone was striking workers and demanding social reforms.

    The family was awakened at two o'clock in the morning, told to quickly get dressed, and led dwon into a half-basement room at the back of their house. The anti-Bolshevik forces were approaching thinking that the house may be fired upon. Seven commumist soliders from Central Europe were waiting in an adjoining room and shot the whole family.
