    Serfs were given all the rights of free citizens, gaining the rights to marry without having to gain consent, to own property and to own a business. Peasants would be able to buy the land from the landlords. Household serfs were the worst affected as they only gained freedom and no land.

Most importantly areas like Southern Manchuria, the Liaodong Peninsula, Mukdan, and the seas around Korea, Japan, and the Yellow sea. Japan eventully won, forcing Russia to abandon its expantion policy. Japan became the first Asian power to defeat a European power.

    So many emotions were held back in the years of the Russian Empire from peasant unrest, to political anger, and military mutinies. All of this led to the establishment of limited constitutional monarchy, the State Duma of the Russian Empire, the multi-party system, and the Russian Constitution of 1906.

    Putilov's biggest facory workers demanded a 50% wage increase to have more money for food. After mangement ignored, the workers went on skrike. Four days later 30,000 employees were locked out of work. They had no food or money. Riots got worse and out of control. Nicholas II has to release the emergency food supply.

    Nicholas was not a good leader. He was a weak and unsuccesful czar. He casused Russia to go from one of the greatest powers, to a military and economic collapse before his eyes.

    Nicholas II was forced to abdicate after a number of years. Afterward, his entire family was kept as prisoners near St. Petersburg. They were moved to the Ipatiev house, where they were all shot and killed.

    Vladimir Lenin died of a brain haemorrhage in 1924 at the age of 54. He managed to gain power after the death of Vladimir Lenin through suppressing Lenin's criticisms and expanding the functions of his role, all the while eliminating any arguments.
