The Battle of the Alamo took place on February 23, 1836 in San Antonio Texas. This battle lasted 13 days and many Texans lost their lives in order to defend what was rightfully theirs. President General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna reclaimed the Alamo after killing most of the Texans and Tejanos.
