    Guglielmo Marconi was born on April 25, 1874, in Italy. He was an italian inventor. He sent and received the first radio signal in 1895, though many people didn't think so. He's known for long-distance radio transmission.

    The only way that you could listen to music was jukeboxes, records, or live concerts. They didn't have as many options as we have today. That's how you can see how much it's really changed from then and now.

    FM Waves (Frequency Modulation) is used for encoding information in a carrier wave. It's the method of radio broadcasting. FM is most commonly used when there is a very high frequency (VHF)

    All sorts of people were creating their own radio stations to be heard by relatives, friends, etc. That created a lot of conflict. There were to many stations to be able to separate them on the radio. Charlie had his own radio station. Anyone who was listening wouldn't be able to listen anymore, because other people were listening to the radio as well.
