At around 10 am on Friday, March 10, 2006, I was born in Columbia, Missouri! -
My Grandpa Passed Away
My Grandpa passed away when I was a little over a year and a half old. -
Broke a bone for the first time
During Kindergarten, I broke my ankle doing a cartwheel in a gymnastics class. I remember spraining it multiple times before it finally gave out. I also remember the doctors telling me it was an ankle avulsion- meaning part of the bone chipped off. Unfortunately, this was only the first of many (7) bone breaks. -
Covid cancels the end of my 8th grade year
I remember a few days after my birthday, our trip to Nevada got canceled because of COVID. It didn't seem bad at first but everyone had to switch to online school and zoom. I also remember thinking that this wasn't going to be much of an issue in the months ahead, but we were wearing masks and doing online school up until my sophomore year! -
Appendicitis
During my tennis tryout for this year, I got a really sharp pain in my stomach which turned out to be appendicitis! I had to get emergency surgery (which sucked) and missed the first week of school. I remember the doctor telling me that they changed the time of my surgery and if I had gotten it at the original time I was supposed to, my appendix would've ruptured and I would've had to spend another seven days in the hospital. Luckily I was only there for one night! -
College
After high school, I hope to attend either the Univerity of Missouri or the Univerity of Tennesee to study pre-med in order to become a dermatologist! -
Getting Married
Although I can't guarantee any age I'll get married, I think it'll be when I'm around 27! I'll be in residency during this! One thing I know is that I want to get married at the beach. -
Dermatology
After all of my school is finished, I hope to become a dermatologist! I don't have anywhere specific I want to live, however, I think it'll be close to wherever I go to school. -
Having Kids
I hope to be around 29 when I have my first kid! I plan on having 2 because I feel like anything more than that is way too stressful. I hope to have a girl and a boy just like how it was for me when I was growing up! -
Retiring
I hope to retire at around 65. I plan on moving to Kiawah Island, SC (somewhere I traveled to every summer growing up). It's warm and near the beach so I can spend my days relaxed and near the water! -
Questions
- I feel like my timeline tells me that I base a lot of my future events off of things in the past (like where I'll retire)
- I think my life would be different because if I actually got to eat and talk to my Grandpa I could have picked up some things he did.
- I think my early 20s are pretty flexible but when I start getting to my late 20s it gets way busier and fixed because I plan on doing a lot during those years.
