Professional and Teaching Experience

  • TJ Maxx Associate

    I began working in retail as my first job. I worked at TJ Maxx for the remainder of high school and college.

  • Graduated High School

    I graduated from South Charleston High School.

  • Started College

    I went to West Virginia State University and received a B.S. in Elementary Education. While at WVSU I completed over 250 hours of classroom observations and teaching.

  • Student Teaching

    I completed my student teaching in a second grade class. I developed lessons, maintained classroom management, and took over the class with supervision of my teaching host and university supervisor.

  • Graduated College

    I graduated Cum Laude from WVSU with a B.S. in Elementary Education.

  • Teaching

    I completed my first year of teaching in a third grade classroom.

  • Intern

    I completed an internship at the West Virginia Department of Education.

  • Graduate College

    I started Graduate school for a Masters in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ed. I am still working to complete this degree.
